Workshops

Two face-to-face workshops are organized each year to provide members with an opportunity to network, learn, and share ideas. The workshops are focused on current high-interest topics in educational technology,  teaching and learning.
ETUG Fall Workshops are typically held the first Friday in November. They are a 1-2 day program with a single stream of presenters. During the Fall, a pub night social is also organized for members to network in an informal setting.
ETUG Spring Workshops are typically held on Thursday and Friday during the first week of June. These workshops are a 2 day program of concurrent sessions. ETUG Spring workshops focus on hands-on labs. A welcome pub night on the Wednesday evening prior to the workshop and an evening dinner are also part of the Spring workshop program to provide ample time for networking.
To get a sense of  themes and session topics covered  see info on our past workshops.
ETUG workshops are held at post-secondary campuses throughout BC or at a convenient location in the Lower Mainland. If you are interested in hosting a workshop at your institution, let us know!

Online Activities

A number of open, online events are presented every year on topics of interest to ETUG members. In the past ETUG has partnered with SCoPE to organize and facilitate both asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities for educational practitioners. If you are interested in opening up online events to educators beyond the walls of your institution, or in hosting / facilitating an event contact Leva Lee, llee@bccampus.ca or Sylvia Currie, scurrie@bccampus.ca.
