[ETUG Fall Workshop 2022] Save the Date & Call for Proposals
Digital Literacy in Post-Secondary Education: Trends, Tools, and Strategies – Friday November 4th 2022
Despite the recovery from the pandemic, the number of academic programs and courses that are delivered in hybrid or fully online formats will likely remain high. At the same time, an increasing number of instructors are trying out hyflex delivery – giving students options about whether they come to class or learn online.
Digital literacy, for both instructors and students, impacts effective use of these delivery modes. But how can digital literacy support teaching and learning for online, hybrid, and hyflex courses? And what does a student need to be digitally literate? What does an instructor need to be digitally literate?
For more information on Digital Literacy see ‘Appendix 2: Digital Literacy Framework’ from the AEST Digital Learning Strategy (Consultation Draft), pp. 20-31.
We are seeking presenters for this one-day online workshop. Presenters may submit proposals that explore or reflect on the above questions. Alternatively, proposals could examine the resources which already exist or that are in development that aim to grow digital awareness and digital literacy capacities.
Submit your proposal for the Fall Workshop by October 7th October 10th, 2022.
