Getting ready for a Spring Workshop – what you said you would like
After last fall’s ETUG webinar, part of our new world of workshop offerings, we asked participants to complete a survey to let us know how things went, and to tell us more about what they (you) would like to see for future offerings.
So thank-you everyone for taking the time to respond! Here are the results of what topics you said you are looking for (also seen in the chart presented at the bottom of this post).
Number one was Open educational practices (yay!). This was followed closely by (at a three-way tie) Diversity/Equity/Inclusion, Decolonization and Indigenous Education, and Emergent and Educational Technologies to Support Learning. Then Accessibility, Micro-credentialing, and Technologies for Assessment. Learning Spaces, LMS, EdTech Assessment Frameworks were next highest, followed by Adaptive Learning Platforms, Internationalization, Privacy, Data Analytics, and Virtual Reality. Rounding things off were Multimedia Production and Distribution, and Classroom Technologies.
Lots of amazing potential topics for discussion under this new world of learning online, which is quickly beginning to feel normal (to some, at least). So, stay tuned for more information about our Spring Workshop Webinar.
And if you have some ideas, or want to join in with the planning, come join our Slack channel – we would love to have you there!
