[Fall Workshop 2019] You Asked For It and We Delivered!
Contributed by Bonnie Johnston, BCIT
When we asked for your feedback about our ETUG community last December, you let us know that you would like more online opportunities to meet, connect, and learn. And, on November 1, we did just that. We hosted a day-long webinar series.
Starting at 9:00am sharp, we hosted six presenters who engaged us for an hour each on six diverse topics. We kept it going through lunch for those who could only get a lunch break to come. Throughout the day we had as many as 40+ participants and only as few as 12. Vancouver Community College even hosted a room on campus where colleagues came together to tune in and connect with colleagues across the province. And best of all, we encountered no technical glitches as we were hosted by BCcampus’s robust room in Blackboard Collaborate.
Participants told us in our post-webinar survey that they “Loved being able to remotely join a session like this. Thanks for putting this on :)”
Download the survey results.
And, in case you missed it, we recorded each presentation. Watch for more details as we unpack our learning and share some reflections. As well, we will be following up with you about future topics to include in our next webinar series.
