[12 Apps of Christmas] How'd we do?

Contributed by Keith Webster, Royal Roads University.
The 12 Apps of Christmas wrapped up a festive season on Tuesday with over 230 subscribers from Switzerland to Australia. This year apps were presented by faculty, staff, and students from across Canada (but mostly here in BC). The 12 Apps of Christmas revealed one app each day with a post describing its educational value and providing an opportunity to try it out. This year the 12 Apps of Christmas was organized by Julian Prior at Langara College and Keith Webster at Royal Roads University, supported fully by members of last year’s team, Leva Lee and Clint Lalonde from BCcampus.
Social media spread the 12 Apps to distant lands and we invite everyone to stay in touch with our ETUG community here, even if your connection has to be virtual for now. The apps are still there to explore (along with last year’s as well), so pay them a visit at http://12appsofchristmas.ca
Participants are encouraged to continue trying out the apps and sharing their experiences using the hashtag #12AppsBC. And, if your favourite app didn’t make our list this year, start thinking about how you will present it next year!
