[12 Apps of Christmas] Starts December 1st
We are excited to announce we are offering a 12 Apps of Christmas event this December. Similar to the successful UK event, this fast, fun, microlearning opportunity is free, open, online and offered to you by BC post secondary educators for BC post secondary educators and educators everywhere. We hope this will inspire all to explore new mobile apps for teaching and learning.
What is it?
Explore a new app a day for 12 days. Each day will introduce you to an app, where to get it, how to use it, and some ideas of how it might be used for teaching and learning. Each day will include a challenge to use the app that you can complete in a short time. Participants are asked to share their results and reflect on any additional ideas of how to use it in the future.
Each participant who completes the challenge will have their name entered in a draw for a cool prize!
When is it?
December 1 – 16, 2016.
Where is it?
It’s all happening at 12appsofchristmas.ca. All you have to do is register with your name and email. There may also be additional activities such as webconference meetups or tweetups to share our learning. Signup now!
