Meet Mary Anne Neal from RRU, UVic and Camosun College

Tell us a bit about where you work and what you do.
I teach for Royal Roads University, the University of Victoria, and Camosun College.
How long have you been involved in teaching and learning and educational technology?
Classroom teacher (Grades 10-12):  15 years
University and College:  20 years (online 7 years)
= 35 years…YIKES!
What is one thing you really love about the work you do?
Motivating young people to create a better world for all.
How long have you been a member of ETUG?  (Since what year?)
2000 (?)
What do you like best about this community and its activities?
LOVE the human scope, nurturing relationships, taking a personal interest in each individual.
Do you have a favourite ETUG memory?
I won an iPod many years ago, for creating a poem at a conference.
What would you like ETUG to provide more of in terms of benefits/value to members?  Any input or help you want to ask members to provide?

Let’s engage more people aged 15-25 so we keep abreast of the latest and greatest in technology.

I learn something from everyone and never know when it will come in handy.
