[Fall Workshop 2015] AM Plenary Session 2

Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 12.56.54 PMWe are especially pleased to be featuring a student presentation at the ETUG Fall workshop on “Engaging students in OERs and #textbookbrokeBC” for our second AM Plenary session.
This session will discuss the #textbookbrokeBC campaign launched by the AMS at UBC Vancouver to raise awareness amongst students about OERs and the successful cooperation of key OER stakeholders at UBC in this and other efforts. Participants will work together to reflect on removing barriers for students to engage in OER advocacy and adoption and people will end the session having insight into more meaningful student engagement in open content, and ways to integrate students into the work that they already do.
