This Fall we’ve arranged another exciting “pretug” event: a tour of the recently launched Inspiration Lab at the Vancouver Public Library (Central). The Inspiration Lab is a free place dedicated to digital creativity, collaboration and storytelling. It features high-performance computers, analog-to-digital conversion, sound studios, video editing and self-publishing software, as well as free access to lynda.com, a resource for thousands of online video tutorials on design, video, photography, production and more.
The Inspiration Lab is a place to:

  • create audio recordings in one of five recording studios
  • create and edit video recordings
  • convert VHS, audio cassettes, 8mm VHS, photographs and slides to digital files
  • use graphic design and photo editing software
  • create eBooks

The tour will be on Thursday November 5th at 4:30 pm. It is free and open to all but space is limited. REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. Email llee@bccampus.ca to be added to the waiting list.
