Ed Development & Professional Learning Study Now Available!

Cedpl01Nancy Randall, Penny Heaslip, and Diane Morrison have completed the “Campus-based Educational Development & Professional Learning Study: Dimensions and Directions”.
Twenty-one British Columbia colleges, institutes and universities contributed to this study of teaching and learning enhancement structures, practices and directions. The report summarizes the purposes and outcomes of campus-based educational development and professional learning and provides comprehensive conceptual frameworks with dimensions and models for organizing educational development. Chapters of the study look at consultation, e-learning, scholarship of teaching and learning and leadership for learning.
Given the ETUG Fall Workshop theme of quality and the connections between quality, educational development and e-learning, the availability of this study is timely!
You are invited to read their extensive work which can be found on the BCcampus site  as an academic paper, wiki site, and one page summary and to engage in the associated discussion forum on SCoPE.
As an Open Educational Resource, the authors encourage redistribution of the campus-based educational development and professional learning report which was funded by the BCcampus Online Program Development Fund (OPDF).
