ETUG Interest Groups and Chat Sessions

Many ETUG members were inspired by the energy and enthusiasm generated by our gathering at the ETUG Spring Workshop a few weeks ago at SFU Burnaby.
As a followup, several ETUGgers have decided to organize some virtual meetups with ETUG and other interested people to continue the discussions we started. Following loosely on the Mozilla model of meetings for Open Badges, a few groups will get together for some casual chat sessions using a variety of tools such as Google Plus Hangout,  BB Collaborate or Big Blue Button. Its all very experimental, spontaneous and just the thing ETUGgers are up for!
For those keen on the idea of growing a BC Open Educator Community, this group will be facilitated by Will Engle, UBC (will.engle@ubc.ca) and Brian Lamb, TRU. For people interested in the area of Online Professional Development for Instructors, this group will be facilitated by Emily Schudel, University of Victoria (eschudel@uvic.ca).
