Terri Bateman
Terri Bateman is an Instructional Designer working for various organizations and Post-Secondary institutions in B.C. and beyond. She works closely with instructors to design and develop online courses, does faculty development, and builds training materials. She probably should blog, but doesn’t. She can be found on twitter @terribateman.
Ken Bauer
Ken is a professor in the Computing Science department at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara where he has been living as a transplanted Canadian for 20 years. Ken is also a speaker on flipped learning, open educational resources and team dynamics in software engineering.
Brian Lamb
Brian is Director of Innovation at Thompson Rivers University, where he leads a range of educational technology projects. He’s been a Research Fellow at Utah State University’s Center for Open and Sustainable Learning (COSL), and a Visiting Researcher at Barcelona’s Open University of Catalonia. He mutters ill-tempered observations on his weblog (http://abject.ca/) and on Twitter (@brlamb).
Alan Levine
Alan levine is recognized for expertise in the application of new technologies to education. A pioneer on the web in the 1990s and an early proponent of blogs and RSS, he shares his ideas and discoveries at CogDogBlog.com. Among his recent interests are new forms of web storytelling (including 50+ Web 2.0 Ways To Tell a Story, pechaflickr, and the StoryBox), as well as leading and teaching the open digital storytelling class, ds106.
Most recently he was instructional technology specialist at the University of Mary Washington, following leadership positions at the New Media Consortium and the Maricopa Community Colleges. Currently he is exploring new options under the banner of his own creation CogDog.It.
When possible, he enjoys the peace of a little cabin in Strawberry, Arizona. His interests include digital photography, bending WordPress to his whims, and randomly dipping into the infinite river of the internet.
Tannis Morgan
Tannis is the Associate Dean of the Centre for Teaching, Learning, & Innovation at JIBC where she is responsible for the development and implementation of the institutional e-learning strategy, centred on mobile learning, simulations, and open education. She is the project lead on the JIBC-University of Guadalajara (UdG) Agora project, working with Sandra Cobián and the CIEP Docentes team.
